Europa reconquista una histórica Ryder Cup
En un final apasionante y no apta para cardiacos el equipo Europeo ganó 14,5 a 13,5 ante el equipo Norteamericano. El español Miguel Ángel Jiménez fue determinante para que la copa se quedase en el Viejo Continente con su victoria sobre Bubba Watson 4-3. El norirlandes Mc Dowell consiguió el punto definitivo en una Ryder que por primera vez en 85 años de historia acabó en lunes. El formato de juego a "match play" (por hoyos) nos devolvió la emoción a los amantes del golf que pudimos disfrutar de 12 brillantes juegos individuales en el club de golf The Celtic Manor de Newport (Gales, Great Britain).
